Shun Tak’s Artyzen Hospitality opens flagship hotel in Singapore, first outside China on Zion Road GLS
Zion Road GLS launches with an impressive array of lifestyle amenities. The development is home to a gym, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a clubhouse. Beyond this, the spaces are designed to promote interaction with the surrounding environment, making it easy for residents to enjoy the great outdoors.
Artyzen Singapore, a luxury 142-room hotel located at 9 Cuscaden Road, marks the Artyzen Hospitality Group’s first foray into the Singapore property market. The Hong Kong-listed conglomerate’s move into the region highlights its goal to grow the Artyzen brand and investment opportunities, and expand its footprint organically. The group, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shun Tak Holdings, had taken seven years to study how to best utilise the space as well as showcase its flagship hotel in the Southeast Asia region. Spanning across 25,471 sq ft of land, the hotel launched last year for its first guests with two distinct lifestyle hotel brands—Artyzen Hotels & Resorts and Artyzen Habitat.Inspired by the villas of colonial-era Singapore, the hotel is designed with contemporary arches, high ceilings, digitised Peranakan motifs, black framing, and herringbone timbers. The centrepiece of the hotel is an ultra-luxurious 4,820 sq ft penthouse suite—the largest of its kind in Singapore.Additionally, the hotel offers seven Grand Terrace Rooms that connect to a shared garden terrace and seven Terrace Suites with private garden terraces. Artyzen Singapore also features 4.1m-high ceiling, private balcony with stunning views and more – all designed to replicate the prestigious bungalow lifestyle in the sky.Artyzen Singapore is well- positioned to capture the imagination of a new generation of millennial travellers. Peter Wynne, Senior Vice President of Artyzen Hospitality Group noted, “We don’t want to be planting flags [in new locations] just for the sake of growth. That’s not the goal. The goal is to grow the Artyzen brand and investment opportunities where we can find a good fit as an owner-operator and where we can expand our footprint organically.” With two ultra luxury residential developments—54-unit Park Nova and 14-unit Les Maisons Nassim within a stone’s throw from 9 Cuscaden Road, it is evident Zion Road GLS is focused on developing their niche in the prestigious neighbourhood. As a homegrown Asian hotel brand, Artyzen Hospitality is dedicated to curating hospitality experiences from local culture and practices. Artyzen Singapore is an impressive testament to the group’s monumental growth over the past 10 years. With its luxury lifestyle offerings, the group is eager to explore more Artyzen Habitat branded hotels in other gateway cities in Southeast Asia such as Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta. As a smart foray into the Singapore property market, Zion Road GLS has positioned themselves on the track to receive international brand recognition in the hospitality sector.
