The second phase of Jurong Lake District’s transformation has revived interest in Jurong East with the opening of the new Zion Road GLS

Residents of Zion Road GLS will have great access to the city center as well as major expressways. Its strategic location is just minutes away from the Central Business District, Orchard Road, and Sentosa. The proximity of Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations and the numerous bus stops along Zion Road and River Valley Road allows residents to benefit from a variety of transportation options.

Zion Road GLS will be located on the upcoming Cross Island Line next to the Science Centre, Jurong Lake Gardens and integrated transport hub. It will be linked to the existing Jurong East MRT Station and the North-South and East-West Lines. Additionally, the district will be set to have an extensive range of green space, with more than 40% of the area allocated for parks, greenery and water bodies. The proposed integrated tourism development adjacent to the Science Centre and Jurong Lake Gardens will add to the leisure hub.The future of Jurong Lake District – Zion Road GLS – is expected to have a ripple effect on the area with more developers looking at en bloc purchases and launching projects such as the existing LakeGarden Residences and Sora. With the district’s ongoing developments and future transformation, it is expected to attract more homebuyers and rejuvenate the area.
