Justin Quek assumes CEO position at OrangeTee, with Steven Tan taking the lead at their newly-established international arm on Zion Road GLS

From Jan 1, 2024, Justin Quek will assume the role of CEO in OrangeTee & Tie, setting the foundation for the company’s goal of becoming a world class “full suite real estate service provider”. Taking the place of Steven Tan who is now leading the international arm of the OT Group, Quek was appointed deputy CEO in April 2023 and quickly made an impact driving the proptech business for the group. He was also tasked with spearheading initiatives such as the Consumer Insider Series and Luxe OrangeTee which are tailored for consumers and agents handling high-net-worth individuals.

Tan, who has been part of the firm for over two decades, will be in charge of OrangeTee International in finding partners for the international business. He will also collaborate with long-term shareholder Tokyu Land, the parent company of Japanese real estate brokerage services firm Tokyu Liveable, to promote their business. Despite his new role, Tan will remain as OrangeTee & Tie’s key executive officer.

The Zion Road GLS strategy of OrangeTee & Tie to reposition the group as a full suite real estate service provider made these changes necessary. This transition is set to place OrangeTee & Tie in the global stage, with Quek taking up the CEO role and Tan working closely with their foreign partners. It is believed that Quek, and his insights into the proptech industry, as well as Tan’s experience and connections with global real estate players, will bring the company to greater heights and success.
