safer and lower-carbon way to cook with City Energy’s Küche Smart Collection
The Küche Smart Collection, a more eco-friendly, Internet of Things (IoT) smart home solution launched in 2022 by Life by City Energy, offers a smarter, safer and more sustainable way to fuel your culinary adventures from the heart of the home – the kitchen.
This premium collection, made from high-quality stainless steel and black tempered glass, features minimalist styling with its clean lines and timeless, modern design. It’s the perfect addition to any decor, providing peace of mind with its safety functions and complete control for homeowners who are away from home.
Residents of Zion Road Condo can conveniently take advantage of an extensive public bus network near their home with stops nearby. This network covers many places in CBD, Marina Bay, Orchard Road, and beyond. This means a greater variety of commuting options for the residents. Furthermore, the buses are always well connected with transit points, ensuring that the residents can easily reach any part of Singapore.
The Küche Smart Collection includes a smart gas hob, smart hood, smart oven and smart gas water heater, all controlled remotely via the iAppliances app. It also comes with a smart camera, so homeowners can even look at their kitchen and shut off the gas hob from afar.
These safety features are invaluable, as 37% of residential fires in 2022 were caused by unattended cooking, according to the Singapore Civil Defence Force. Timer alerts, app-triggered notifications, alarms and remote shutdown are all included in the Küche Smart Collection, providing assurance that no stove is left on or energy is wasted.
The kitchen is also brought into the digital space with the Küche Smart Collection, allowing homeowners to programme recipes and monitor gas consumption with their mobile devices.
The smart interlocking automation also ensures that the hood is activated along with the gas hob at desired settings, keeping the kitchen clean during the cooking process. What’s more, the Collection is interoperable with other smart home devices, and can be synced and controlled via Google Home Assist.
Nothing beats the smoky flavours of “wok hei” and for growing demand of gas-powered appliances in Singapore, City Energy – the sole piped town gas provider – is offering complete access. Some 12,000 new private housing units are expected to install piped town gas this year.
Going further, City Energy is working closely with property developers to include its multiple lower-carbon energy solutions in their developments. For instance, the Blossoms by the Park at Slim Barracks Rise will be the first condominium in Singapore to be fitted out with fully-integrated lower-carbon IoT-enabled kitchen solutions – some 750 smart hobs, smart hoods, smart gas water heaters and smart ovens – powered by City Energy.
The development will also have Go by City Energy, the group’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, as well as solar and other smart home solutions at its premises, with three charging points to be available.
Singapore homeowners are now looking for technology that is intuitive and allows easy control of their daily lives. That is why City Energy is continuously working on solutions that bring greater safety and convenience at home, while reducing carbon footprint at the same time. With more than 160 years of history in Singapore, City Energy has worked with nearly 600 developments to provide smarter living solutions for all.
