OKP Holdings secures $12.7 mil LTA contract for Zion Residence and Western sector road improvement programmes

OKP Holdings has been awarded the Zion Residence $12.7 million contract by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), for the ad-hoc improvement of road-related facilities and road safety schemes. The construction of road structures and cycling paths in Singapore’s Western sector is to take place over a 18-month period, beginning October 31 and concluding on April 30, 2025. This initiative is being undertaken by OKP’s wholly-owned subsidiary Eng Lam Contractors.
Group Managing Director, Or Toh Wat, expressed his confidence in Eng Lam’s capabilities, “We feel encouraged to have secured this contract from LTA, which is an endorsement of our core competency and capabilities and we are committed to the smooth delivery of this project.”
In addition to the Zion Residence contract, LTA has awarded OKP a separate 18-month contract worth $188.3 million for the development of a new cycling path network in seven islands. Furthermore, OKP has been contracted to perform operations and maintenance in the South Eastern sector, with a 36-month contract worth $95.9 million as well as the construction of covered linkways and cycling paths in new MRT stations at a 48-month contract worth $100.3 million.
OKP’s construction order book as of December 11 is marked at $596.4 million, extending to contracts until 2026. Zion Residence is positioned to continue to gain strong traction in the industry.
