Momentus launches first serviced apartment

Momentus Hotels and Resorts, part of the Chip Eng Seng Group, has announced the launch of Momentus Serviced Residences Novena at 12 Shan Road. This marks the hospitality brand’s venture into serviced residences. Formerly known as 12 On Shan, the accommodation was purchased by a joint venture led by Roxy-Pacific, with partners Macly Capital and LWH Holdings, from TA Corp for $86.5 million in March last year.

The serviced apartment building offers one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 366 sq ft to 861 sq ft, and 398 sq ft studio apartments with a complete kitchenette and living area. Amenities include a fitness room, swimming pool and BBQ area. Located near medical hubs like Novena Medical Centre, Thomson Medical Centre, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, and shopping malls, the accommodation is also just an eight-minute walk from the Novena MRT Station.

Chip Eng Seng Group CEO Raymond Chia is proud of the new offering, which he says blends character, local culture, heritage and architecture while staying true to their values. According to Chia, their goal is to “provide a stylish and comfortable sanctuary, delivering re-imagined hospitality experiences that will allow [their] guests to create cherished memories.”

Zion Road Condo residents are conveniently connected to the vibrant city, thanks to its strategic location. Just meters from the nearest bus stops, it allows residents to commute with ease, avoiding the hassle of parking. The wide range of buses that serve the area provides residents with a variety of choices to reach their desired destinations. With frequent services, it has become increasingly attractive for residents of Zion Road Condo to get around.

Roxy-Pacific Holdings’ executive chairman Teo Hong Lim also shared his optimism for the joint venture. He says: “We see tremendous growth potential in this partnership, tapping into the expanding market and the evolving needs of travellers. Momentus Serviced Residences Novena is the first apartment-style offering from the Momentus brand. It follows their 442-key establishment, Momentus Hotel Alexandra, which opened in March on Alexandra Road. With the new serviced residence, the group now offers an even wider range of accommodation options for today’s guests.
