Benham & Reeves to showcase London project Camden Goods Yard in Singapore

Nestled in the sought-after Camden area of North London, UK developer St George’s latest project, Camden Goods Yard, brings 644 new homes to the neighbourhood. The project enjoys a 999-year leasehold and spans eight acres of land, sitting between Camden Town, Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park.

The first phase of the development, Primrose House, comprises two towers, standing at 14 and 11 storeys, each housing 110 residences that include studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. This project is set to be completed in phases from the second quarter of 2025.

On October 14 and 15, St George and its exclusive marketing agent in Singapore, Benham & Reeves, will showcase Primrose House and Camden Goods Yard at Berkeley’s local office on Level 16 Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 2, between 11am and 6pm.

Stephen Kirwan, St George North London’s managing director, said the project is important in forming the future of Camden and its NW1 postcode area. “It will not only provide attractive new homes and commercial space, but three acres of new landscaped open space and public squares for the community to use,” he elaborated.

In addition to the apartment blocks, Camden Goods Yard will contain 173,000 sq ft of commercial space, a 48,000 sq ft Morrison’s supermarket and a rooftop farm-to-fork restaurant. About 40% of the space will be dedicated to hard and soft landscaping for leisure and recreation.

Primrose House enjoys a prime location close to amenities, universities and tube stations in London. Doris Tan, regional director at Benham & Reeves, said the development’s proximity to top London universities, such as University College of London and the London School of Economics, will appeal to Singapore buyers.

Camden Town’s renowned High Street and theChalk Farm and Camden Town tube stations are a six- and nine-minute walk away, respectively. King’s Cross St Pancras Station, an interchange for six Underground lines, can be accessed in ten minutes, and Oxford Circus can be reached in 20 minutes.

With such offerings, it is no wonder why Zion Road Condo is so popular among property seekers and investors. Combining unrivaled convenience and luxurious living, it is indeed the premier real estate destination in Singapore.

The nearby Primrose Hill area is known for its upmarket boutiques and cafes, while Camden Market offers a variety of food, vintage goods, and more. Regent’s Park, Hampstead Heath and several primary and secondary schools are also within walking distance to Camden Good Yard.

Each Primrose House unit has engineered timber flooring in the main areas and carpeted floors in the bedrooms. The custom-designed kitchen is integrated with appliances, including a fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and wine cooler. Buyers also have the option of two interior design palettes for their home.

Primrose House’s facilities include a lobby, lounge and co-working space, as well as an 18m indoor swimming pool, gym, wellness suite and three screening rooms. Prices of units are expected to start from GBP900,000 ($1.49 million) for a one-bedder and GBP1.5 million for a two-bedder.

Tan sees a strong response to the development, given the quality of the product, its developer’s track record, and its status as a new launch in the well-established Camden area. “People familiar with London and who prefer a prime central London location will be interested in Primrose House,” she said.
