Mitbana and Intiland launch township development in Tangerang, Indonesia
Daisuke Kobayashi, deputy chief operating office of Mitbana and president director of Inti Mitbana Development, envisions the redefinition of the next generation of sustainable urban living in Greater Jakarta with the launch of Green Bestari Park. This 51-ha integrated township and transit oriented development located in Talaga Bestari in Tangerang, within Indonesia’s Greater Jakarta area, is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corp and Surbana Jurong – together with Indonesian property developer Intiland Development – with Mitbana holding a 70% stake in Inti Mitbana Development.
Under the development, the first phase spans 14 ha and includes cluster landed homes, retail areas, F&B outlets and a clubhouse for residents. Subsequent phases are expected to come with more residences, a city park, commercial areas and an integrated mass rapid transit station along the East-West MRT line connecting Balaraja and Cikarang. Future developments in Green Bestari Park will also include a transit oriented development and ‘Green Connection’, a proposed green boulevard that loops around the township, allowing residents to have an eco-conscious living environment with modern amenities.
