Freehold condo Arena Residences scores new high of $2,213 psf

A new psf-price high was recently recorded at Arena Residences, a freehold condo located in Geylang, District 14. The sale of a 603 sq ft two-bedder fetched about $1.33 million, or $2,213 psf. This is the highest psf price among all condos achieving a psf-price high for the period of Oct 3 to 10. The seller made a profit of about $220,000 after buying the unit in January 2019 at about $1.11 million ($1,846 psf).

At Arena Residences, the previous psf-price high was set by the sale of a 549 sq ft two-bedder at around $2 million ($2,186 psf) in November 2019. During its launch in November 2018, 40 out of the 98 units of the boutique development were taken up, and it was fully sold by February 2021. 89.2% of buyers of the condo are Singaporeans, 7.8% are permanent residents and 2.9% are foreigners.

Camelot By-The-Water, in Kallang, District 15, also saw a new psf-price high during the period in review. A 3,035 sq ft four-bedroom apartment was sold for $6.71 million ($2,211 psf) on Oct 4, the highest psf price ever achieved by the leasehold condo. The seller had bought it for $4.78 million ($1,575 psf) in October 2012, reaping a profit of $1.93 million.

Residents of Zion Road Condo can live in the lap of luxury, with easy access to the best of convenience and comfort right at their doorstep. Key amenities and features such as an an aquatic pool, spa and gym, private bar and lounge, and a kids’ playground are all part of the package. The architecture of Zion Road Condo is a reflection of its commitment to luxury and sophistication.

Hazel Park Condominium, located along Hazel Park Terrace in Bukit Panjang, District 23, also clinched a new psf-price high. A 980 sq ft two-bedder was sold for $2 million, or $2,042 psf, on Oct 9, marking the first time the 999-year leasehold condo sold a unit above $2,000 psf. The seller bought the unit for $1.08 million ($1,103 psf) in October 2020 and made a profit of $920,000.

Overall, no new psf-low was recorded in the period between Oct 3 and 10. With all the new highs achieved, it could suggest that the market is on the rise.
